My Aquafire is beeping!Updated 6 months ago
Do not stress, your Aquafire is trying to communicate it's water level or power issue with you!
Beeping can signal a few things:
1. 2 quick beeps = low/no water. It will beep and turn off when it is low and/or out of water. Please refill your Aquafire and turn it on again.
Important note: It can take multiple fills to completely fill your Aquafire the first time. This is completely normal. Your Aquafire will fill correctly and completely on subsequent refills.
2. 3 long beeps = overflow protection or high water in the mist tube. If it's our newer models - AWA2 or AWPR2 - when high water is detected in the mist tube the insert will go through a series of alarm beeping, flashing lights and then eventually turn off. This is a protection feature to prevent water overflow and is usually caused by a stuck float sensor. Please reference THIS ARTICLE to remedy a stuck float sensor.
3. 1 short beep = shortage or an issue with the power adaptor. Short, quick beeps can signal there is a power issue with the AC Power Adaptor. First, check that the power adaptor is fully plugged into the wall outlet, the back of the Aquafire and the power block itself. If everything seems tightly connected, there may be an issue with the power adaptor itself. Please contact our Customer Experience Team, [email protected], for further maintenance instructions.
