NOTE: These instructions are for Generation 1 and Generation 2 Aquafire Original and Aquafire Pro. The SKU will be: AWA, AWA2, AWP, AWPR or AWPR2. For Generation 3, the dry contact port location is actually an RS485 Interface. For the full communication protocol, please reference THIS help article.

There are multiple ways to control your Aquafire Original and Aquafire Pro. If you have a Smart Home system or would like to connect to a remote switch control, there is a Dry Contact Port on every Aquafire to assist with this type of installation. 

The Dry Contact Port only controls the ON/OFF Function of the Aquafire Original or Aquafire Pro. It does not allow you to control the lights, flame height/speed or the dimming feature.
