How do I control multiple inserts?Updated 7 months ago

Multiple inserts can be paired to one remote so that they turn on/off together, change flame height/speed together and change color together (Aquafire Pro Model only). To the outside, they appear as one seamless, fireplace insert. Up to 8 inserts can be paired to one remote, that translates to 40 feet of flame!

To pair multiple fireplace inserts to one remote, please follow the instructions below:

1. Before turning the fireplaces off, make sure each fireplace is on the same setting. We recommend turning everything to the lowest setting and picking the same LED color. This ensures all fireplaces will start from the same operating baseline when you press the ON/OFF button. 
2. Choose 1 remote and press the power button to figure out which fireplace it belongs to, then turn off that fireplace. This is now your master fireplace and remote. 
3. Turn all fireplace inserts off. 
4. Manually push and hold the power button on the fireplace insert (far right button) until it blinks (3-5 seconds), then release the power button.
5. While the power button is blinking, push any button on the remote. The fireplace should power off and this completes the sync process.
6. Complete steps 3-4 for each fireplace insert until all are paired to the Master Remote.
