Is Aquafire Humidifying?Updated 6 months ago

To put it simply: Aquafire it not a humidifier.

It does technically release water vapor into the air but it does not create enough moisture to affect the moisture levels in a room.

In fact, the water output is so minimal if you put a piece of paper on the water vapor (flame) for 24 hours the paper will remain dry!

This means you do not need to worry about protecting anything in your enclosure from moisture as there is not enough water output to create excessive condensation.

For example: The Aquafire 20" holds 2L of water and takes 20 hours to deplete. That means a little over 3oz of water is released into the room per hour.

The Aquafire provides ambiance, freedom from worrying about heat, burns gas line or fumes, a beautiful focal point for your space... Not humidity!
