Do I need to waterproof the Aquafire enclosure?Updated 10 days ago

No!

The Aquafire produces minimal mist and the cool mist that is created is very fine, almost dry-to-the-touch. You won't find a wet mist or steam like a traditional humidifier. To test the limits of the cool, dry mist, we placed a piece of paper directly above the vapor flame for multiple hours and it never became wet. For more information about the ultrasonic transducer, check out the How It Works Section of our website!

The Aquafire and Aquafire Pro require 2L of water per 20" section in order to run for 20 hours. That means a 20" burner puts out 2L of water every 20 hours. A 40" puts out 4L of water every 20 hours and a 60" puts out 6L of water every 20 hours.  The minimal water output keeps your surrounding dry and has minimal effect on the humidity level of your home or business.
