Accessing the Water Connection After InstallUpdated 22 days ago

Once installed, there are few reasons why you would need to directly access the water connection to your Aquafire Original with Direct Plumb Kit or Aquafire Pro, however you will want the ability to shut off the water to the Aquafire at certain points.

Installing an external shut off valve to the water line connected to your Aquafire is highly recommended. This should be close and convenient to the installation.

You can also create an access panel near the water connection, to be able to manually cut off water to your Aquafire Original (with direct plumb kit installed) or Aquafire Pro**.

The water connection is located on the bottom left side of the Aquafire. Please reference the photo below. 

The below picture is for the Aquafire Pro. 

The Aquafire Original with direct plumb kit will be in the same location but is a secondary piece

**For multiple Aquafires installed into one enclosure or housing, you would need to create an access panel for each Aquafire, since they each have their own water connection. An external shut off valve is preferred in this type of installation**
